just. was created to take the drama out of choosing period protection. A new generation of period products that just work. It’s bloody simple.
No bells and whistles. No dyes, fragrances or chlorine bleaching. just. products give you just the protection you need and nothing you don’t. Because it’s not rocket science — it’s just a period.
All of our cotton is US-grown, sourced from Barnhardt Manufacturing Company (a privately held, family-owned business in the US, since 1899).
Maybe you just like the idea of being able to count the ingredients on one hand. We get it. That’s why we created just. Get just what you want, and nothing you don’t.
Our tampons are made in the United States and our pads are made in Canada.
Our boxes are made of virgin fiber and are 100% recyclable.
Tampon absorbencies are standardized. So, choose the one that matches the absorbency you use now, or check the chart on the pack. Tip: If your tampon is dry or mostly white when you take it out, you may need a lower absorbency. If it leaked through your underwear, try a higher absorbency.
The tampon (core) itself is just cotton. We use polypropylene fiber to make the braid strong and polyester thread to sew it together. Our cotton has vegetable-based coating to help with processing. No dyes, fragrances, or chlorine bleaching. Just 3 materials — it’s that simple.
Just choose the one that matches the size you wear now. Tip: if your panty size is bigger – like a pad size 5 — you can wear Overnight during the day for more coverage.
A tampon can be worn up to 8-hours. You can change it earlier if you like, but for good hygiene, change it no later than 8 hours. No one wants to change their tampon in the middle of the night, so if you think you’ll sleep past the 8-hour mark, wear a pad instead.
Unwrap the pad, peel the paper off the sticky side (if it’s there because sometimes the wrapper actually doubles as the backing), and put it with the sticky-side facing your underwear. Then pull the paper off the wings and tuck them around your underwear to keep the pad in place. When it’s time to change your pad, just pull it off your underwear like a sticker and roll it up. Then put it in the wrapper from your new pad (if you have one, if not, use toilet paper) and toss it in the trash.
Once you've put in a new tampon, just put the used applicator in the wrapper and throw it in the trash. If you're changing your tampon, same rules apply: put the used tampon and applicator in the trash.
No. No tampon, whatever the brand, is "flushable." Although many people do flush their tampons, no one should. So please, don’t. Besides, it's just as easy to drop in the trash — just sayin'.
Pull it off your underwear like a sticker and roll it up. Then put it in the wrapper from your new pad (if you have one, if not, use toilet paper) and toss it in the trash. Don't flush it. It's bad for the toilet and can lead to blockages and flooding. Just sayin'.
Let’s take a step back: Your inner shape is flat and wide — not round. If your tampon doesn’t fit just right, blood can sneak around the tampon and leak out. just. is designed to expand side to side to fit better and protect you from leaks. It’s that simple.
Regular and Super. We’re trying to keep it simple, and since 80% of tampons purchased are Regular and/or Super, that’s what we made. For now.
No, just. pads aren’t designed for that.
Our tampons are made of responsibly-sourced, pharmaceutical-grade cotton, but no, the cotton is not organic. But we’ve done our homework — research shows that non-organic cotton is perfectly safe for your body. AND the purified cotton we use is equal to or higher quality than organic cotton.
Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS) is a rare but serious disease that may cause death. Please read and save the enclosed information inside every tampon pack. You can lower your risk of TSS by using the lowest absorbency that meets your needs.

Yes, the risk is the same. TSS is not ‘caused’ by a tampon, nor is the risk of developing TSS changed by the ingredients in a tampon, whether it’s 100% cotton or otherwise. What can increase the risk is higher absorbency, so use the lowest level that meets your needs. Learn more here.
Dyes? None. Fragrances? Zero. Chlorine bleaching? Nope. We give you just what need for the best absorbency without bells or whistles:
- 100% cotton top layer for comfort
- an absorbent core made of absorbent gel and wood cellulose
- a thin polyethylene & polypropylene layer to stop the absorbed blood from reaching your underwear
Two ways. First, just. pads are bloody absorbent, pulling in liquid fast and holding it inside. Second, they’re made with comfortable wings to keep them in place, so the pad doesn’t move and nothing escapes. It’s that simple.
Just keeping things simple - so for now, we only make Super and Overnight. Overnight is longer than Super, to give you more protection while you sleep.
Nope. No grown woman wants to feel like she’s wearing a diaper. That’s why just. pads are ultra-thin, and still give you the protection you want.
just. is made with responsibly-sourced cotton and without dyes, fragrances or chlorine bleaching — but no, our cotton is not organic. That said, the cotton we use is equal to or higher quality than organic cotton.
